Bertie Gregory is an award-winning British wildlife filmmaker, cinematographer, and National Geographic Explorer whose work has redefined immersive natural history storytelling. Known for his "hands-on" approach to filmmaking—often serving as his own Director of Photography while hosting—Gregory has become a central figure in bringing the planet’s most elusive and endangered species to global audiences.
His trajectory into the natural history film industry began with a childhood obsession that saw him out in the field with a camera from a young age. This early dedication was first recognized when he was named 'Youth Outdoor Photographer of the Year.' After graduating with a degree in Zoology from the University of Bristol in 2014, Gregory’s career was fast-tracked when he began assisting the legendary National Geographic photographer Steve Winter.
